Summary0000248: Build fails under cygwin
DescriptionWhile trying to get a cygwin build running, I got the following error. As I recall I saw this same bug with MinGW; it was something to do with windows header files and the clash of gcc vs. windows #ifdefs.

make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/john/src/ascend/base/autotools/packages'
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/john/src/ascend/base/autotools'

g++: long: No such file or directory

We're not too worried about building on Cygwin now that everything works OK with MinGW.
