0000533: Add support for 'recent files' list in PyGTK GUI

Description

The 'File' menu should display a list of 5 or 8 recent files that have been opened in the ASCEND PyGTK GUI.

Also, if possible, recent files opened in the PyGTK GUI should be added to operating-system file lists, if that's not already happening, on Mac, Windows and Linux (Ubuntu 11.10 and Fedora 16 would be suitable for testing).

crashes in revsion 4059- gives the below error maybe due to new cahnges in trunk for recent files list.
