Assuming (IIRC) that the splash graphic is currently stored as an SVG, just switch to a PNG and that will be problem solved. For bonus points, investigate creating a native splash screen using Windows API calls instead of loading GTK first... this would make the splash screen appear must faster on that platform. |

Fixed in changeset 2816. Switched to a PNG image on all platforms. |
